I can't believe Nathan is 2 months old already!! He's getting so big, so fast! He's eating 4-5 oz. now and is sleeping close to 6-7 hours at a time at night, at least for Joel. I'm in the process now of trying to get him to sleep in his crib but, it's not as easy as you'd think. He doesn't feel secure unless he's being held or if he has his "oya oya" (pacifier) I'm also trying to get a nap schedule down since he's sleeping more at night and staying awake more during the day. So far NO LUCK there but, it's a work in progress!
He's starting to become more interested in toys now. It's so exciting seeing his face when he sees his rattles or the mobile on his swing. He's got this confused but, excited look on his face. He's also starting to communicate more. He's cooing and smiling at me and we have morning conversations for at least 20 minutes. I've been giving him daily tummy time and he's ok for 5 minutes and lifts his head way up! Then he starts rolling over and even if I put him back on his tummy he rolls back. He hates tummy time lol.
We ended up switching formula to sensitive because, the similac advance was too much on his little tummy. He seems a lot happier now that he's on the new formula. I still really wish I could have breastfed but, it is more convenient not having to pump all the time.
I can't wait to see what's next for this month. Nathan is growing so quick it's amazing. I just keep thinking what's next!! I love watching my little boy grow up!
