6 months and counting..

It really has been awhile since I've updated on Nathan. We just had his 6 month check up last Friday and he's 16.4 lbs and 26 1/4 inches. He's getting SO big!! Dr. Walzyck said he's very advanced for his age and has strong core muscles. Nathan is sitting up on his own now, splashing around in the bath tub, babbling a whole lot more, trying to crawl, and can stand up if he holds on to your thumbs. He's so smart! He's eating real baby food now and LOVES sweet potatoes and pears. He doesn't like bananas though. He's sleeping through the night still 7pm-7am and is moving around a lot more in his sleep. He's starting to go through separation anxiety now though and that is kinda rough. He won't let me leave the room unless he's coming with. If he doesn't come with he starts crying and then I come back and he's fine. He even does it to Joel but, unfortunately Joel is working a lot so Nathan has a stronger bond with me I think. He definitely still loves his daddy though!!

We recently bought a house and I'm completely in love with it. I love being in such a great neighborhood and it just feels like home. I'm honestly sleeping SOOO much better here, its awesome!! Also best part.... I can do laundry at my own place again AND I have a scrapbooking room!! WOOH!! :) lol It's also a great place for Nathan to grow up and I can't wait until he's older and can enjoy the house more with us. I know buying this house was most definitely the right decision!!

I also in the past few weeks was diagnosed with severe post partum depression. I've been put on anti-depressants and am seeing a therapist so I can better cope with things. For things being so right in my life, I have a lot of demons in my past that I need to get past. I need to be able to completely clear my mind of the negativity going on in my life and focus on the important things.. my husband and my son. I'm hoping I won't have to be on these anti depressants for very long and hopefully therapy will help me and I can just be "normal" again.. whatever that means.

Pretty much it's been a very busy past 2 months which is why I haven't been blogging as much. Hopefully I can get back with it so that when I print this off for Nathan's book he doesn't miss out on so many different things... now a recent picture of him!! :) These are his professional 6 month pictures!! He's growing into such a handsome boy and I'm really lucky to have such an amazing little man!!
